Mattie B. Massey Carter, 77 of Clinton, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at 3:32 PM at Baptist Health in Paducah. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Vivian Estes of Fulton; one son, Jeff Carson, SR of Gleason, TN; 2 brothers, Clyde Massey of Clinton and Ocie Massey of So. Fulton, TN; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Carter, SR and 1 brother. Her parents were Edward and Frances West Massey. Graveside Services will be held 10 Am Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends are ask to meet at the Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home in Clinton are in charge of the arrangements.
