Darrell Lane Stewart, 49, of Paducah, KY, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at his home. He had been employed in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Aide.
Darrell was born in Lexington, KY on November 28, 1966 to Warren and Melinda Stewart. His love for people undergirded his work at Morningside Nursing Facility and Easter Seals Center. He enjoyed helping those in need, especially the elderly, as well as cooking, reading, and outdoor activities. He always had a cheerful outlook on life.
He is survived by his mother, Melinda Ann Thompson Breeden of Paducah, KY; one sister, Sherry Stewart of Paducah, KY; two brothers, Terry Stewart of Jacksonville, FL and Scott Stewart and wife Gina of Nashville, TN; and one niece, Emily Hamlin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Lane Stewart.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. A time of sharing will begin at 6:30pm.
