Herschel E. Powell, 79, of Paducah died at 1:05 PM Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Mr. Powell retired from P&P Courier Service, he was a veteran of the US Army and National Guard and of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia A. Newton of Paducah; one son, Harold E. Powell of Paducah; two brothers, Harold G. Powell of Texas, Harlie L. Powell of Paducah; one sister, Beatrice Buchanan of Benton, IL.; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper Powell and Emmalee Francis (Dyson) Powell; first wife, Dorothy (Sills) Powell; second wife, Viola A. Powell; one son, William Powell; one brother; and one nephew.
There will be no visitation or service.
