Christy Lou Taylor Faith, 59, of Reidland, died Friday, October 14, 2016 at Baptist Health-Paducah.
Christy was born in Detroit, MI on February 25, 1957 to the late Frank Richard Taylor and Mary Louise Griggs Taylor. In 1975, she graduated from Reidland High School and began her twenty-five year career at Bellsouth. She attended both Reidland Baptist Church and Salt and Light Community Church. Christy and her children, Kelley and Corey, all overcame serious health issues and were each other’s support system. Jokingly known as the “best known restaurant patrons in Paducah”, Christy and Corey ate lunch together every day with Kelley joining on Mondays. “Mimi” was devoted to her grandchildren as well, and loved to pick them up from school and take them swimming at Silos Country Club. When Christy’s health allowed, she and Ronnie played golf together and played in tournaments. Being together with family and traveling were her primary joys in life.
Christy is survived by her husband, Ronnie, to whom she married on September 28, 1979. She is survived by two children, Kelley Keeling and partner Kristi Cates both of Reidland, and Corey Faith of Reidland; grandchildren, Kennedy Keeling, Kendall Cates, and Tristan Cates. She will be missed by her miniature Schnauzer, Murphy.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sunday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jim Glover officiating. Burial will follow at Mullinax Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
