Alfred Ray Allen, SR, 88 of Clinton passed away 6:13 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. He was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church and retired mechanic from General Tire. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Wilson Allen of Clinton, 2 sons, Alfred Ray Allen JR of Red Lodge, Montana and Skyler Allen of Clinton; daughter, Alfreda “Joy” Barclay (Phil) of Wingo; 6 grandchildren, Danny (Sherri) Barclay, Stephanie (Jason) Fulcher, Sabrina Williams, Jerid (Ashley) Shelton, Raven (Sergio) Garcia and Koty Shelton and 6 great-grandchildren, Zac Fulcher, Haley Barclay, Bell Williams, Gracie Barclay, Gaven Diel and Luka Garcia. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Cleveland and Ruby Pearl Payne Allen, daughter, Teresa Gay Shelton, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with Rev. Howard Kitter and Rev. Kevin Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Milburn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton.
