Melvin (Mel) C. Werner, 88, of Eddyville died on Tuesday, January 24, 2016 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Mr. Werner was a retired electrician from IBEW Local 16 and was a member of the Evansville Masonic Lodge. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating.
Surviving is one son, Randall Werner of Eddyville, KY; and one sister, Jackie Werner of Evansville, IN.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Werner; and one son, Skip Werner. His parents were Chauncey and Rose Werner.
Mr. Werner is being cremated per his wishes.
