Mr. Chad M. Smith, 38, of Murray passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Chad was born May 12, 1978 in Sandwich, IL. He was a boilermaker for Construction Turnaround Services. Chad was a graduate of Calloway County High School where he played football. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Smith; a brother, Jacob Smith; grandfathers, Isaac Smith and Kenneth Collins; and a grandmother, Mary Collins. Survivors include a son, Isaac Zachery Smith of Murray; three daughters, Brianna Taylor Smith, of Murray, Ella Grace Smith and Emri Jayce Smith of Newburg,IL; his mother, Linda (Collins) Smith of Murray, two brothers, Luke Dale Smith of Lexington, S.C and Caleb Ethan Smith of Bristol,IL; a grandmother, Betty Smith; Dawn Bowman, mother of Ella and Emri Smith; three nephews; one niece along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12-2 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Imes Funeral Home and Crematory, downtown Murray. A Celebration of Life Service will start at 2 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the funeral home with Sammy Cunningham officiating. Friends and family will be given an opportunity to share their memories of Chad. Condolences available online at www.imesfh.com.
