Billy Joe Payne, 83, of Bardwell, KY, passed away at 10:50 am on Friday, April 21, 2017 at his residence.
Billy worked for Bean Farms, shoed horses on the side, and was a member of Mayfield Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Judy Quillen of Bardwell, KY, Carolyn Courtney of Kirbyton, KY; one son, Billy Wayne Payne of Bardwell, KY; seven grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Carol Payne; his parents, Burnett and Anna Lee Pearson Payne; one daughter, Anita Lee; one son, Patrick Payne; and one brother, Charles Ray Payne.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Bardwell with Rev. Ian Carrico officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Bardwell.
