Mrs. Martha Roberts, 87, of Murray, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Roberts was born on March 13, 1930 in Marshall, Virginia to the late James Tarman and Alma Carter Tarman. She was of Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Calvin Milby; her second husband, Thomas Roberts; a son, Mason Milby; a brother, Howard William Tarman and a sister, Madeline Virts.
Surviving her are two sons, Doyle Milby of Murray and Roger Milby (Rebecca) of Auburn, Alabama; three daughters, Virginia Todd (Danny) of Murray, Alma Gray (John) of Murray and Karen Carson (Kenneth) of Kirksey; a sister, Ella Cornell of Marshall, Virginia; a daughter in law, Karen Milby of Murray; seventeen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mrs. Roberts is set for 1 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray with Elijah Balentine officiating. Burial will follow at Barnett Cemetery.
Her family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
