Mr. William Rodney Spears, age 29 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Marshall Co. Hospital E. R. in Benton, KY.
Born Wednesday, July 15, 1987 in Murray, KY, he was the son of the late William Randall Spears.
Surviving are his wife, Jessica Phelps Spears of Benton, KY, mother, Kim (Gipson) Lansford of Benton, KY, step-father, Bill Lansford of Benton, KY, grandparents, Ronnie and Ann Spears of Benton, KY, Johnny Gipson and Belinda Maupin of Benton, KY and sister, Chasity Spears Miller, husband Kevin of Benton, KY.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandmother, Jane Gipson.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025.
Interment will follow in Benton Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home.
