Tommy Schnuck, age 70, of Ledbetter, KY passed away at 9:42 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Center. Tommy was of Baptist faith and worked out of Labor Union #1214. He worked on the river for thirty years. Tommy enjoyed life, loved family, grand-kids and being with people. He never met a stranger. He had a passion for Dirt Track Racing and being a part of that sport.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Peck, two daughters, Allison Lee Ann Schnuck and fiance, Charlie Hopkins of Livingston County and Kristin Noel Schnuck of Paducah, KY; one son, Tommy Dean Schnuck and fiance, Jessica Wood of Wickliffe, KY; four step-brothers, Billy Shelby, Gene Shelby both of Paducah, KY and Danny Shelby, Tommy Shelby both of Ledbetter, KY; two grandchildren, Kayla Starnes and Brooklyn Schnuck; two great grandchildren, Jackson Walters and Peyton Keith; one nephew, Kevin Page.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William O. Shelby & Mary Louise Frances Schnuck Shelby and one sister, Helen Elizabeth Page.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Michael Suiter officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbedtter, KY.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
