Laura Katherine (Kathy) Ritchie Kline passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.
Kathy was born in Savannah, TN on August 15th, 1940. She attended St. Mary’s High School, and was a caregiver for children and elderly most of her adult life. She married Bill, the love of her life, in 1979.
Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life was transformed by the love of Jesus Christ, and she demonstrated His love without condition to all she met. She was a praying woman, and always believed the best in people. Generosity was her gift. Material things had no grip on her heart, but rather the people she loved.
She was survived by her daughter, Lisa Barnes and husband, Roger of Kevil, KY; two sons, Kenneth Burnett and wife Kay of Buchanan, TN, Ritchie Burnett and wife Tabitha of Lamar, MO; five grandchildren, Veronica Burnett, Laura Richardson, Ross Barnes, Casey Burnett and Nathaniel Brady; six great grandchildren, and one very special friend David Shouldice and wife Arlene of Lake in The Hills, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Kline; and her sisters, Carolyn Albert and Tootie Colson. Her parents were George Clifford Ritchie and Nancy Louise Horton Ross.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Kathy at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with her grandson Ross Barnes officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
