Alice Faye Walker, 65, of Smithland passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Walker worked at Harrah’s Casino in Metropolis, Illinois and was a member of Birdville Baptist Church., and Eastern Star. In her spare time, she loved playing golf, hunting and fishing, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband, Ronald Walker of 41 years; one son, Justin Walker of Birdville ; one daughter , Kimberly Walker of Paducah; two brothers; Ralph Jones and James Jones; four sisters, Janice Elrod, Deborah Boyle, Jo Ann Kelling, and Susie Parks; seven grandchildren, Walker, Latta, Logan, London, Justin, and James Walker, Grace Samples and Tobias McNutt
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Martha Jones and one brother, Raymond Jones.
Funeral Services will be at Smith Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11:00 am with the Rev Wayne Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Birdville Cemetery in Birdville.
Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
