She is survived by her husband, Bobby Elbert Council of Paducah. Two sons, Chuck Medley of Paducah; and Jeffery Steele of Paducah. One brother, Junior Redfern of Eddyville, KY. One sister Billie Joyce Gregory of Reidland. Four grandchildren, Ethan and Tyler Steele, Megan and Brianna Medley. And several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Peter Bob Redfern and Lala Mae Birdsong.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday February 15, 2018 at Victory Assembly of God Church in Paducah. With the Rev. Gary DeRossett officiating. Interment to follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Ballard County. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday February 15, 2018 at Victory Assembly of God Church.
