Paul Gillard Ross, 66, of West Paducah, KY, passed away at 10:10 am Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital. He retired from West Kentucky Community and Technical College after 32 years of service.
Paul was born in Paducah on October 27, 1949 to Gillard and Norma Ross. He enjoyed duck and goose hunting and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Throughout his life, he enriched the lives of many, both through personal relationships and his service to, and passion for, higher education.
He is survived by his son, Brian Ross and wife Denise, of Louisville, KY; his brothers, David Ross and wife Angela, of Paducah, Joseph Record and wife Regina, of West Paducah; his granddaughters, Meg and Ella Ross; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Deanna Bradford Ross; his parents, Otha Gillard Ross and Norma Record Ross.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Rev. Keith Tilford officiating. Burial will follow at McKendree United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
