Neblett, Floyd

Floyd Ray Neblett, 81 of Paducah, KY passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 in Paducah, KY.  Floyd was of Pentecostal faith and a veteran of the United States Navy.  Floyd was a member of the American Legion and a former truck driver, cab driver and worked for the McCracken County Jail.  He loved fishing, playing pool, watching “Rocky” movies and enjoyed boxing on televison.

Survivors include one daughter, Renee Runkle of Paducah, KY; one son, Byron Neblett of Owensboro, KY; two step-sons, Harold Helton and David Helton both of Benton, KY; one brother, Grady (Diane) Neblett of Paducah, KY; three grandchildren, Jessica West, Michelle West and Allen (Rochelle) West; three great grandchildren, Cheyann Argo, Alex Spears, Thomas Argo; several neices and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Neblett; parents, Bill Neblett & Hazel Hulen Neblett; one daughter, Lisa Neblett; step-daughter, Ella Peeler; one sister, Sheila Robertson and one brother, Henry Neblett.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Pleasant officiating.  Burial will follow at Provine Cemetery in Marshall County with Military rites.  Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
