Omega O. Adams, 96, of Paducah, formerly of Chicago, died Tuesday at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Omega was born on November 11, 1919 in Stewart County, TN to the late Emmitt and Lacy Sills Jackson. She was of the Catholic faith and retired from General Electric as an office clerk and had also worked for the Zenith Corporation.
She is survived by her sister, Reba Jackson Crutcher of Paducah; two brothers-in-law, Richard Henry and Bruce McDougal; two sisters-in-law, Robbie Jackson and Yvonne Jackson; and twelve nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ed Fillinsky; second husband, Joseph A. Adams; and siblings, Geneva Louiana Jackson Crutcher, Lillie May Jackson Crutcher, Dottie Jackson Henry, Oleta Leracey, Lavern McDougal, E.V. Jackson, and James Thomas Jackson.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday at Mt. Kenton Cemetery with Rev. Brad Whistle officiating. There will be no visitation.
