Michael Kevin Stone, 48, Louisville, formerly of Paducah, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016, 10:27 a.m. at his residence.
He was of the Baptist faith and a former member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed as a Superintendent for over 25 years with National Environmental Contracting, Inc. and was a member of Abatement Workers National Local 207 and a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School where excelled in track.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Michael is survived by his parents, Reverend Franklin Stone of Barlow and Faye Strickland Gray of Paducah; one daughter, Danielle Stone of Paducah; one son, Gage Stone, Louisville; three sisters, Jana F. Wilson of Paducah, Jessica Stone-McCain of LaCenter, and Shakita L. Stone of Nashville, TN; one brother, Jeffery Stone of Nashville, TN; one granddaughter; three uncles; two aunts; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 12 Noon, Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Raynarldo Henderson and Reverend Michael Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
