Mrs. Parker was born December 24, 1947 in Bangor, Maine to the late Norman and Margaret Mapes Philbrook. She was a member of Bethel Fellowship Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Philbrook Jr.and a sister, Alice Georgi.
Mrs. Parker was survived by her husband, John Edwin Parker of Almo; a son, Scott Owen (Kristina) of Almo; a daughter, Dawn Mitchell (Brian) of Guam; two sisters, Peggy Swanson (John) of Bowling Green KY., and Sherry Durand of Connecticut.
A graveside service is planned for 2 PM Monday, April 18, 2016 at Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville KY. Shelby Underhill will officiate.
The family of Mrs. Parker will receive guests from 10 AM-12 PM on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Imes Funeral Home and Crematory, downtown Murray.
