Flossie Gaye Hamilton Hart, 83, of Paducah passed away at 1:27 am on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
She was a retired switchboard operator for the Paducah Sun, charter member of Concord United Methodist Church, and a volunteer for Western Baptist Auxiliary.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Vicki Schreiber and her husband Riley of Crete IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Jack” Jackson Hart; two sisters, Wanda Moore and Ruth Brown; and her brother, Joseph Hamilton. Her parents were Eric B. Hamilton and Eva Henderson Hamilton.
Funeral services for Flossie will be 1:00 pm on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Joel Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Flossie will start at 10:00 am on Monday, June13, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
