Mrs. Rita Joan Hicks Adams, 75 of Mayfield and Formerly of Clinton passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Jerry S. Adams of Mayfield; 2 Sons, Jeffrey Hutson of Columbus and Clifford Hutson of Henderson, TN; 2 Daughters, Tracy Hargrove Ray and Heather Hutson both of Mayfield; 4 Grandchildren, Cameron Hutson of Columbus, Joey Hutson of Dyersburg, Jerden Hargrove and Trace Hargrove both of Mayfield; 2 Great Grandchildren, Zoie Pyle of Mayfield and Madelyn Hutson of Dyersburg, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Robert “Billy” and Thelma Lee Gifford Hicks, 2 Sisters, Sue Whitlock and Shelby Holder and Brother, Danny Hicks. Graveside Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Zion Cemetery with Rev. Dustin Cunningham officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
