Mr. William Jake “Jakie” Koon, 75, of Marion, Ky passed from this life on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Jennie Stewart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
Mr. Koon, a retired core driller, was a veteran having served in the United States Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sue Kayse Koon of Marion, KY; son, Troy Koon of Louisville, KY; sister, Mary Holliman (Dale) of Salem, KY; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake A. Koon and Mary Etta George; and a brother James Wayne Koon.
Friends may call on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 12:30 to 2:30 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem KY. Private graveside services will follow.
