Joretta Gilbert, age 82, passed away at her residence in Bardwell, KY on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 4:50 p.m.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles Gilbert of Bardwell; sons, Kevin Gilbert of Mayfield, Larry Gilbert of Cunningham, and Ronnie Gilbert of Paducah; sister, Luvean Wilson of Bardwell; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Gipson and Bertha Hammonds Steinbeck; sons, Michael Gilbert, Ricky Joe Gilbert and Dickie Joe Gilbert; and two brothers.
Services for Mrs. Gilbert will be held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Revs. Glen Stewart and Ronnie Stinson will officiate with burial following at Mayfield Creek Cemetery. Visitaion will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 31.
