Leroy Branham, 71, of Kevil passed away at 3:46 am on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Leroy was born September 18, 1944 the youngest of three boys born to Sam and Ora Caudil Branham.
He was a member of Newton Creek Baptist Church, and a 50 year member of Grahamville Masonic Lodge. He had worked for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in St. Louis. He retired from USEC having worked as a Cascade Operator and as a Union Representative. He was a integral part of passing legislation to assist nuclear workers in obtaining compensation and benefits for health issues caused from their employment.
Leroy is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Helen Markus Branham; daughter, Amanda Branham and husband, Shane Pace of Kevil; three grandchildren, Henry Pace, Alex Pace, and Walter Pace; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Tamara Leigh Branham.
Funeral services for Leroy will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, May, 15, 2016 at Newton Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation for Leroy will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah and after 2:00 pm on Sunday, May, 15, 2016 at Newton Creek Baptist Church.
